Plastic Artist and Founder of Casa Taller Encuentros
He was born on February 9, 1960 in Santo Tomás, Department of San Salvador, El Salvador. He studied at the National Center for Arts (CENAR) and Plastic Arts Workshops at the University of El Salvador.
Recognized for painting faces of children who express different emotions, his work has received praise in the United States, Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Chile, Guatemala

He founded an arts school in Panchimalco, known as "Casa Taller Encuentros" where he teaches art to low-income children and adults

• Miguel Ángel Ramírez is recognized in 2011 by the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador as “Notable Artist of El Salvador” due to his career in spreading the art and culture of his country.
